:: DESIGNSTORY 04 - Kind of Blue

Trade Fair Mobitex, Brno, 17th and 21st March 2004

Brno, as the second largest city in the Czech Republic, is with its economical role and geographical location determined to be the most important trade fair point in Central Europe. Next spring between 17th and 21st March will take place another MOBITEX, international fair of furniture, home textiles and interior accessories. The main theme of the upcoming event is Light and Interior Decoration. Leading domestic producers will present together with many foreign companies.

MOBITEX will proudly present new exhibition project called DESIGNSTORY. This exhibition will focus on progressive and inspirational furniture and interior design. The organizer of this event is Trade Fairs Brno and the coordinator is non-profit organization ARCHiNET - project for architecture, urbanism and design.

DESIGNSTORY is a tale flowing in time. DESIGNSTORY comes from the past, meets us today and heads towards the future. ARCHiNET will choose for the upcoming year 30 solitary objects from Czech and foreign producers that will show us possibilities of today's modern lifestyle. The whole exhibition idea will be emphasized by blue color that will bring all solitaires together and will create compact and unique set. Beside color will DESIGNSTORY follow fair's theme - Light and Interior Decoration. Organizers put also emphasis on school design that brings fresh ideas and inspirational moments.

DESIGNSTORY that will be placed in Hall A2 in the fair ground will be divided into three sections:

• Solitaire - presentation of single objects from domestic and foreign produce
• Story - story of light and decoratio
• School - presentation of desi scholss

Furthermore, MOBITEX will expand its program to design studios, galleries and museums downtown.

Trade Fairs Brno and ARCHiNET warmly welcome you to story telling of modern furniture and interior creation that has a new name - DESIGNSTORY.
